Various artists from the Rio Grande Valley have shared a “collection of resistance and response music” in response to Sen. Ted Cruz’ visit to McAllen during the Fourth of July parade.

The collection was compiled by McAllen resident Ronnie Garza and is titled “Unfinished Chicano Business Vol. 1 – HEY TED CRUZ, HERE’S SOME FUCK YOU’S FROM THE VALLEY. IT’S A REMINDER THAT YOU WERE NOT INVITED HERE BY THE PEOPLE OF MCALLEN AND YOU DO NOT REPRESENT US, ASSHOLE.”

The collection, released on Fourth of July, features Vestido, Fantastico!, L@s Skagaler@s, Caldo Frio ft. Ricardo Reazola, Calavera, TAO, Noble Insect, I Killed Techno!, Air to Breathe, Yruama, The Vennz, Lonely Pizza, Ray Perez, Polly Merkin, Ruben Farias, Psychic Driver, Nopalero SOUND Machin, Pillow, Winter Texan.
