Do you have what it takes to be the RGV’s next leading Dragtivist? Apply now to Drag Out HIV!

Drag Out HIV! is a training and mentorship program hosted by Beatrix Lestrange and Valley AIDS Council for drag queen performers from the Rio Grande Valley. The training will allow Queens to be advocates for HIV testing and PrEP awareness within their networks of followers and friends. Accepted applicants will also receive a photo shoot and be part of special Drag Calendar.

The requirements to apply are to be an RGV drag performer, be willing to make a change, and be your fierce self.

If selected, applicants will:

  • Get paid $50 per Training session (4 sessions, 2 hours each)
  • Be part of a Drag Calendar promoting HIV/PrEP Awareness
  • Headshots
  • More Surprises!
