On July 19, 15 teenage girls dressed as Quinceañeras took over the south steps of Texas Capitol to fight SB 4, the “Show Me Your Papers” Law. The 15 girls performed a traditional Quinceañera dance in front of the Capitol before proceeding inside to deliver gifts to legislators who fought against the passed of SB 4.

The action was organized by Jolt, an organization building Latinx political power in Texas.
