About TogetherJuntos:
“TogetherJuntos Caravan aims to empower communities through education, organization and participation. Several non-profit organizations along the southern border are joining this caravan to make sure that our communities know their rights and are able to defend them against any person or institution abusing their authority. In 2017 SB 4, the law that allows law-enforcement agents to inquire anyone they detain about their legal status in the country, was introduced in the Texas Legislature. Border Network for Human Rights and almost everyone in Texas has been fighting to stop and eliminate this law, as it affects our economy, our safety, damages the trust between law-enforcement agencies and the community and causes family separation and deportation. Please join this caravan, we will be traveling along the border to educate the community on topics that matter to them. The caravan starts in El Paso on March 30. The cities the caravan will cover are the following:

El Paso, Socorro, San Elizario, Fabens, Tornillo, Ft. Hancock, Marfa, Presidio, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Laredo, El Cenizo, San Benito, McAllen, San Juan, Rio Grande, Brownsville, Falfurrias and Corpus Christy. Please join the Caravan. For more information please contact Border Network for Human Rights at (915) 577-0724.”
