Cristina Garza is a Brownsville, Texas native and an art student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Garza finds inspiration from the powerful women that have surrounded her life as well as her love for gardening, cartoons and her aspirations to teach art to a younger generation. Neta was lucky to have met Garza at the CreARTe Latino Cultural Art Expo held at the Carlotta K. Petrina Cultural Center, where she shared more about herself and her artwork.
